Happiness & Weekend Fun

First off, my happy list!  I'm happy that people are receiving their nail polish prizes from me.  Bethany from Happily Rambling won one in the giveaway I did and her daughter promptly claimed it. So she framed it and put it in her daughter's room, look how cute it is!

I also got a lot of happy mail this weekend.  I realized my Colors by Llarowe order had been in my PO box for quite some time now, but had not gone in to check it.  When I did, I was surprised to find a bunch of surprise mail from the girls in my nail polish group on Facebook.

This weekend was pretty laid back.  Friday night the roommate and I went to a huge used book sale and I picked up a few things, then we went and grabbed Chinese food and Peruvian pastries before he headed to hang out with some other friends, and stuffed myself and watched episodes of Desperate Housewives until I fell asleep.

Saturday the roommate and I got up and ran down to the Flag store.  He wanted a few more flags for French speaking countries to put in his classroom, and a France sticker for his car.  That store was extremely kitschy-mormon kitsch specifically, but it was fun to wander a bit.  We then went to Shivers, a burger joint I used to go to as a kid to get fish and chips, and stopped off at the market to track down some "Doissants" (a.k.a "Cronuts") which were a cross between Croissants and Doughnuts.  They were pretty tasty in small doses!

After running errands Saturday we decided to give the bunny a bath.  Now, some people say you shouldn't bathe bunnies (it can send them into shock) but this bunny is different-he loves the water.  If you put him near it he will go into it and play in it.  So he was happy for a bath, especially on such a hot day.

Saturday night we went and saw Start Trek Into Darkness at the dollar (well $2) theater.  It was such a fun movie, and Benedict Cumberbatch is an extremely talented actor.  His voice and facial control is amazing!

Sunday morning we went to Squatters for brunch with Shawn and Justin, and then after we spent most of the day napping and being lazy.
