Summer has all but come and gone already, and I find myself looking back on it wondering what my life would be like without the wonderful people in it. A few friends of mine have had the discussion regarding the term "YOLO" and while I tend to go towards the whole you-only-live-once-so-don't-do-stupid-things-that-might-kill-you mentality, I have to acknowledge when my friends poing out that you only live once, so go out and make life fun and exciting!
This summer included lots of YOLO moments for me, if I really think about it. Moments that included travel, such as spending a weekend in Oregon with a guy (even if it's not going anywhere-YOLO!), taking my little car on a long road trip to Seattle with two of my best friends in tow (even though my car has some issues-YOLO!), climbing up on David's roof to meet his honey bees (and then having a panick attack when trying to get down, but I did it-YOLO!), and finally working up the nerve to go back to College this fall-YOLO.
Perhaps the biggest YOLO moment I had this summer was getting my tattoo. I've always wanted one, but made excuses not to get them-because they're forever, and apparently I have an issue with committment. But while we were in Seattle Kristina and Courtney pushed me to get one. Kristina's reasoning? You Only Live Once. #YOLO
Waiting for him to design our tattoos in that hot little shop took forever, but one thing that passed the time was that they gave us Otter Pops while we were waiting. I must have eaten three-I'd forgotten just how much I LOVE (as in almost obsessively love) Otter Pops. As a kid, Otter Pops really made the summer-whether it was sneaking a couple out of the freezer and asking mom to cut the tops off, or the PTA at school handing them out from a cooler on field day. I loved them.

My favorite flavor is Poncho Punch (the pink one) but Louie-Bloo Raspberry (blue) and Sir Isaac Lime (green) come in a very close second. Did you know that they're made with real Juice? That is certainly impressive, and makes me feel a whole lot better about the massive amounts I want to consume.
