♥ Cara from The Marvelous Flight of Cara wrote a post called I Will Not Be Silent which was all about how she is a straight Christian and is so happy that DOMA was struck down-because God loves everyone regardless of race, gender, and orientation.  She just became one of my very favorite people. ♥ Dana at Wonder Forest wrote an excellent post about dealing with blogger negativity.  It can be so hard sometimes when the trolls come calling, but all you can do is just be you!  Photo is © Wonder Forest.

♥ Ricki-Jill from Art @ Home wrote a book review for The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman.  I currently have my signed first-edition sitting at home waiting for me, so I'm sooo glad to know that it lives up to the anticipation!

♥ Megan The Nautical Owl wrote a very blunt and inspiring post about clean eating and how she's getting healthy.  I love her direct honesty, and she's so smart!

I'm having much too much fun with Bitstrips on Facebook.  They are cracking me up.  You can design your own little character and interact with other friends who have them, or create them for other friends and create little comic strips.

Kristina should have trusted her heart surgery to a real doctor. But she thought it would be fun.

My work makes my brain explode. I think it's getting harder now that it is Summer and I have a bad case of Cabin Fever.  All I want to do is go somewhere!  I have my Seattle trip in a few weeks but I want to go somewhere NOW!   Boo.

I went to Starbucks on the way to work yesterday.  I couldn't decide if I wanted a Coffee or a Green Tea Latte... So I got both.  Yes, I'm not proud of the amount of calories that must have been, but I wanted coffee for the caffeine and the tea for the flavor.  Oh well.

I am entirely out of patience for the week... Which is sad since I have about 7 more hours of work and Friday seems to be the day when the most computer illiterate/rudest customers come into support... Guess I'll have to deal with it. lol

New Shop Items for Summer!

I've finally added some new illustrations to the shop, and most are just in time for Summer!  I hope you like them, and remember-take 20% off anything in the shop all Summer long with the code SUMMERLOVE, which also works on all ad space this summer too! :) I will also take custom requests for illustrations!  These are all one-of-a-kind original illustrations made with watercolor and ink, and there are no prints made of them.  :)  You could have you're very own original!  You can see what colors are available for customs HERE.

Horror Movies, Kitties, and New Hair!

I didn't have much going on this weekend, mostly due to not feeling well.  In fact I missed work yesterday due to not feeling well, so if I haven't been around very much (Sorry I missed the Weekly Round-Up!) that is why...  Though I did manage to get my hair done on Sunday.  I went a bit shorter-my hair has been sooo long lately, so when she asked to take a little more off I was happy to be cooler for Summer.  I'm pretty sure she took 3-4 inches off, and she chose a different red she's hoping wont fade as much.

Friday night we went to dinner at Cedars of Lebanon (Lebanese & Moroccan food) with our friend Brittany.  It was very tasty, the owner was nice, and it was lovely spending time with her.  It's nice to feel like you have friends when so many others have disappeared.  After going home Josh and I watched MAMA-which was awesome.  Totally creepy, but it was also this beautifully made fractured fairy-tale.  I would really recommend it to anyone who likes the dark and/or horror.

Saturday I went and stayed with my grandmother to help take care of her after she had surgery on Friday.   It was nice spending the evening and getting to spend some time with her and the kitties.

Sunday after getting my hair done (seriously it needed it) I spent the evening curled up on the couch sick.  No bueno.  Worst period ever-stupid Uterus. Sometimes I really think it would be easier to be a dude.  Josh and I watched Dark Skies, which was also a pretty good little scare.  I enjoy Alien movies in general, and this one was super creepy.  The roommie is deathly afraid of aliens lol.  Creepy movies make me happy... If you couldn't tell!

On another note... I'm trying to decide between re-watching all seasons of Sex and the City or re-watching all seasons of Six Feet Under.  I've been wanting to re-watch both, just not sure which one to start with.  What do you think?
