RTT: Blustery Bitchiness

♥ It's a blustery day here in Utah.  Seems a bit warm, even though the wind is blowing pretty hard.  It's March, and apparently that "In like a lion, out like a lamb" stuff doesn't apply to Utah.  It came in pretty smoothly and being the last few days of the month it's roaring pretty loudly out there.

♥ The word "blustery" reminds me of this:

♥ I really love Winnie The pooh.  Eeyore was always my favorite.

♥  Wow, this is not turning out to be a great day.  I'm in a Bitchy mood, and events are conspiring against me to really piss me off further.
  • First off, I decided to switch from Coffee to tea for a while, because I was getting heartburn really bad.  I love me some coffee, and I'm not a big tea drinker, but I  hope to change that.  However when making my tea today, the new honey I bought had a defective lid and burst off pouring way too much honey into my tea.  So it was nasty by the time I got to work.
  • Second, the Tier 1s at work have been arguing with me today.  It's been frustrating actually! I had one call me, I told him to send the case up, then he called me ten minutes later with the same case!  I told him AGAIN to send it up, and still could hear him on it ten minutes after that.  FRUSTRATING!
♥ I'm determined that the day is going to get better.  Heather is almost here, which makes it better already.

♥ It does suck that Andy and Josie are still sick at home, and Chris is gone today so there are less people to talk to and entertain me.

♥ Thank god for Billie Jo, Tina and Matt, they made the morning a smidge better.

♥ I realize I need a new job, however when opening a link last night to apply for another job I nearly had a heart attack.  Why is change so scary for me?  Why am I afraid to leave a company that doesn't seem to care about me much?  They haven't told me they want to keep me.

*In the Local News, and to express why I get so frustrated with our country sometimes.  There was a man in St. George (which is about 4 hours south of where I live) who got in trouble for taking pictures of him kissing his naked infant.  A photo-developing clerk turned int he photos saying they were suspicious. They've dropped the charges"Deputy Washington County Attorney Ryan Shaum says the images are consistent with family photos of a proud father with his son."  The problem is, that both the mother and the father of this baby are illegal immigrants.  So what are they doing?  Deporting the parents.  The kicker?  Because the baby is an American citizen, they plan on keeping him!  How can you send a child's parents away and just steal him from them?  That is messed up.

*In HILARIOUS National News-The RNC (Republican National Committee) is now investigating a $2,000 expenditure at a Bondage club in L.A.  This is hilarious to me.  The saddest part is that it's not a gay club like some other members of that party; which would be totally acceptable if they didn't bitch about gays so much.  It's also not a hot tub incident with an underage girl.

*All Politicians seem to be shady.  These Republicans are just funny.  I know there are some awful Democrats out there too.  I'm not taking sides, just sharing some hilarious (and awfully hypocritical) stories.

*Read a well-written (and wonderfully cited) letter to conservatives HERE.

  1. That is so sad about the baby, it should be able to stay with the parents!!! It makes me sick about the picture thing. When we were little we always had naked bathtime pictures etc. BUT because the pervs of the world had to mess it up, we have to think twice before snapping shots we felt were innocent!

  2. Look for jobs! I just quit mine and it feels sooooo good. Still here through April, but I just couldn't take it any more, and now there's an end in sight. Do it!

  3. I love Pooh bear! Cannot believe that they're going to take that baby away. How sad. How very sad....

And I read through some of the link posted, but it's long, and I'm at work. Very interesting. Very true!

  4. Hope your day gets better. I think change is hard for everyone, even people who say they love it get anxious about change. Also, what kind of tea are you drinking? if you have any questions at all about tea or anything feel free to email me or something. I have a tea blog and have been drinking it and learning about it for about 3 or 4 years now, and would be open to helping you :) Although I love tea, I cannot turn down iced coffee, mmm!

  5. I follow another blog that had a similar experience with their children almost being taken away. They were originally from Portugal, but had moved to the UK and because their twin daughters did not wear dresses to school or attend church, children services were called and an investigation of "neglect" ensued - basically because they were immigrants. The parents ended up moving back to Portugal in order to avoid further problems. Things like that make me so upset.

Eeyore is my fav by the way...

  7. how on earth can they get away with taking someone's child from them? i mean, legally, i get it, but that's horriffic! you go the the walgreens to get some photos developed and you end up kicked out of the country and childless?

  10. Politicians are "super"-shady. They are a bottomless pit into whom we willfully drop our taxes! They have an amazing appetite at swallowing all of that.

Some days are good and some are bad, all part and parcel of living a life on this earth. Just a matter of time, and I am sure everything will be just fine. And about being scared of the change, everybody is scared of the change because it means treading unknown territories and proving oneself over again. Just keep a cool head, I am sure you'll overcome this obstacle as well.
