Dear So & So: Pretty Positive Letters

Dear So and So...

Dear Work,

Tax Season is quickly drawing to a close, and I still have no idea whether or not you are planning on keeping me.  I know that I have another job lined up in case this one falls through, but I REALLY want to stay here.  You need me, I have skills and have figured out the program pretty well, plus you've lost a ton of your permanent employees this year.  Please keep me on!  I promise to be a loyal employee!

With hope,
Your Employee

Dear Heather, Billie Jo, and Josie,

I am totally going to miss you if I get to stay on (or if I don't) since you guys are quitting and we wont get to work together anymore.  I hope you all find what you're looking for, and that this is what truly makes you happy.  You are all such wonderful people.

Lovingly,
Your Coworker Friend

Dear Tier 1s,

Please rate me well on the surveys!  I think you all like me alright, and I really want to keep my job.  Those surveys will help them make that decision!

Pleadingly,
Me-The Tier 2/Reg Agent

Dear Roommate,

I'm doing pretty well on my own these days, learning how to be independent and in my own space; but that doesn't mean I don't miss you!  You haven't been home in over a week!  I can't help but wonder... Do you not like being here anymore?  Are you sick of me?  Do you even miss me at all?

I know you're in love and want to spend all of your time with him... I get that.   I'm sure I'll feel the same way when I fall in love, but I'll still miss you and want to hang out with you even when I'm in a relationship.  I'm trying to tell myself it's nothing more than that, but you can't help but wonder when I barely even hear from you anymore... :(

Please come visit your home.

Missing You,
Your Roommate Friend

Dear Kristina,

I'm so glad we got to spend some quality time together the other day-I've really missed it!  Those glasses you made me are so  beautiful, and I'm truly touched that you took the time to make them for me.  I've gotten used to not receiving gifts from my friends, and it was really a surprise.  I kind of felt like crying because it felt so good to know you had thought of me and gone out of your way to make something special for me.  I love them infinitely more than I would have ever loved the ones I saw on Etsy.  I hope they last forever.

Gratefully,
A Best Friend For Life

Dear Petre,

I know you're only a bunny, but you make me feel less alone at home.  I think if your dad (the roommate) decided to take you up North with him like he was thinking about, I would be so very sad.  You keep me company.  Also, the way you dance around the cage when you hear me talk to you, or the way you stick your little nose against mine for kisses, makes my day every time!  You're so cute!

Happily,
The Bunny-Sitter

Dear Self,

I know change can be scary, but it's not always such a bad thing.  Just look, when the roommate first started being gone all the time, it was hard and scary.  You worried you'd lose him as a friend forever because you weren't needed anymore, but look how much stronger you've become?  You're comfortable alone with your thoughts now.  You're making changes in your life that are making you stronger and independent.  You are amazing! I am so proud of you.

Now, it's time you let yourself get back out in the world again.  It's time you start opening up to the possibility of dating and trying to finally finish the dating game. I have faith that you can win it if you only just keep trying.  Don't give up.

Now, if I can only figure out how to make myself feel it again...

Sincerely,
Your Self

Dear Readers,

I love you all so very dearly, and each one of you feels like another member of my little online community.  I get caught up in your stories, looking for your blogs every day and hoping that you are all happy and healthy.  I love each and every comment you leave me, and I love each and every follower who reads this little blog here.  I can't believe there are over 100 of you now... I love having so many people out there to become close to.

I hope you are all enjoying your day, and that you continue to come back and follow me in this path I walk on Earth.  You are all unique and individual.

With so much love,
Miss Angie
