Holy cow it's April-and my birthday is coming up. How exciting is that? Well, I love reading, so I'm happy that the April challenge (which overlaps my birthday) is a reading one. Are you ready to dig in? This challenge is a year-long challenge with a new theme each month hosted by myself and Chasing My Extraordinary. Read about the entire challenge HERE.
- Set a reading goal.
- Read, read, read! (or listen, listen, listen! if you're into audio books)
- Talk about books.
- Review books you have read.
- Talk about other things you read-blogs, magazines, newspapers, etc.
- Share book reviews of books you've read this month.
- Share lists of your favorite books.
- Write about things book lovers and readers love.
- Talk about why you read or why it's important.
- Share a fun reading experience.
- Share your reading wish list.
- Join us for the Books 'n' Bloggers swap over at Chaotic Goddess Swaps!
I'm challenging myself to focus more on reading and less on the TV I watch and other distractions. I want to listen to at least three audio books and read at least one physical book off my TBR shelf (yes, I have a literal TBR bookshelf with probably about 50 books I've purchased but not read on it!) I also want to finish my eBook, the second Outlander book I've been dragging out way too long.

Love this link up! I have been reading like a crazy person lately. My kindle is basically an appendage. Excited to follow along and get some good recs!
ReplyDeleteI've really slowed down on my reading since I started blogging, as I read loads of blogs!!
ReplyDeleteBlogs are good reading too! I feel that the older I get the less time I have for reading, which sucks.
ReplyDeleteAwesome, so glad you'll be joining us!
ReplyDeleteI can't really get into audio books. I also get sad that I've been using my tablet to download books instead of buying the physical copies, I just have no where left to store my books, I have bin fulls!
ReplyDeleteI am going to try to read more this month. I love reading but it has taken me over 4 months to read The Best Yes and I am only HALF WAY THROUGH! yikes. "/
ReplyDeleteI really feel like I would be cheating on this one haha. I run a book blog, at 40 books this year already...
ReplyDeleteI'm stopping by from The Blogger Life on Fb and glad I did! I love this link up as I'm always looking for more books to read!
ReplyDeletePlease come share this and link up with me at http://www.wrightsimply.com/2015/03/wordless-wednesday-linky-plus-easter-fun.html
Have a great night! xx Ashleigh @SimplyWright
I definitely have to read more. I can't remember the last time I picked up a piece of reading material for pleasure. I'm a new follower of yours. Happy postings!
ReplyDeleteThanks for following! :D I hope you can get a chance to read more-I feel that pain-life gets to crazy to just read for pleasure.
ReplyDeleteNo way-it's totally not cheating. Join in and have fun, set yourself a goal that's a little higher than normal if you want to. :)
ReplyDeleteI know that pain. It's taken me about that long to get through The Dragonfly in Amber Outlander book. :-/
ReplyDeleteYou gotta do what you gotta do! haha-Audio books have just been a life saver for me since my commute is 45 minutes each way.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun song. Lately I have been reminiscing of my past and listening to alot of Sublime! I love them!
