This weekend was full of fun, starting with Friday night, which being the second Friday of the month included volunteering at Bingo. This month's theme was Halloween (or S&M-but I went with Halloween haha!) and I found a last minute set of raccoon ears to be my costume.
Saturday was all about my friend Jon-Michael, since we went barhopping to celebrate his 30th birthday. We started by having dinner at Charlie Chows Dragon Grill (Mongolian BBQ-it was pretty good!) and then moved on to O'Shucks Bar & Grill, then walked down to the Beerhive Pub, then to Murphy's Bar & Grille, and then up to The Bourbon House. (Which I previously had a grudge against because they were such jerks when Eric Himan tried to come play in SLC-and that was reinforced by the sheer amount of douche bag in one place and super expensive prices-will NEVER go back there.) But all in all it was SUCH a great time, and it was so much fun to be out with good friends!
You'll notice we all had matching shirts too. Julie's boyfriend Doose made them for us, and they say "Step aside coffee, this is a job for alcohol!" Fantastic!
Sunday I picked up my grandma and we made the drive south to see my family for my Sister-in-law's birthday BBQ. It was nice to see my family and spoil Arianne with nail polish. Also nice to cuddle her adorable mini-doxie and the little doxie they were puppy-sitting.
Look at my momma's adorable cupcakes (she's a baker) which I successfully did not eat due to lack of WW points.
I came home that evening to watch a movie with my Josh and Max, and was greeted with a shot of bourbon. Then I poured myself a glass of wine. When the drunk munchies hit I avoided the potato chips Josh and Max were munching on (man, I wanted them though!) and ate broccoli, cauliflower, grapes, and apples. SUCCESS!
