I've known Bree for a few years now.  We first met when we were working together at a bowling alley in Roy, UT.  We were co-party planners and became fast friends.  This girl is crazy crafty too, I admire that!

Here are a few interview questions so you can get to know Bree a little better.

Tell me a little about your life:
I'm a Christian SAHM to 2 beautiful monkeys and an awesome hubby! I love love love to create stuff! I'm an avid digital scrapbooker and I'm new to the whole sewing realm.


When did you get started making these lovely things? 
Probably about 5 months ago. All my friends now have one, and I'm finally getting the courage to put it "out there" for the masses to find!

Why did you start? 

Honestly, I started making jam and opened my Etsy store for that reason because we needed the money. But I'm horribly insecure in what I create, mostly because of my perfectionist ways, and so I never really pushed the issue. But now that my love of things has transferred to sewing, I'm hoping to make more items and load them into my store soon!

What is your favorite thing about it? 

About creating? Just the fact that I can do something and it'll turn out awesome. Or at least awesome enough that my girlfriends cheer me on. :P But really, I love the coffee cozy's because they show off your personality and help save the environment. 

Where would you like to take this hobby/career? 

Oh, I have no idea. I like the idea that I am creating most of the gifts for family this year, but honestly, I can't decide from day to day, if I want to create something beautiful to sell or to keep. I figure it'll stay a hobby unless I randomly start making enough money off of it to help support the family, then it'll be a career.

Anything else interesting about it? 

A year ago, I would have told you that I was afraid of my sewing machine and that I would never figure out how to use it correctly! My grandmother was an amazing seamstress, and while my mother swears she is not, {I don't believe her} I am hoping that I've picked up something from my grandmother and that I make her proud!
