I first met the lovely Hailey when we were matched up through a swap, and we hit it off instantly.  She's a crafty hippie chick with a heart of gold-right up my alley! :) I've not only fallen in love with reading her blog, but also with her little shop.  She got me hooked on hula hooping-I now have two from her and just ordered a bunch of stuff ordered for Christmas shopping too!   Just look at all these pretties!

Let's get to know her a bit more!

Tell me a little bit about yourself and your life: 

I'm Haley, 24, and living in the Midwest! I basically am a small town girl with big dreams, I'm making them happen slowly but surely. Love all things music, animals, outdoors, and of course kreating my dreams & hooping! I live with my boyfriend of 6 years, our dog, 2 ferrets & our tortoise. Outside of working, kreating & spending time with the loved ones in my life, I live for live music, music festivals, reading and meeting new people!

When did you get started making these lovely things? 

I started making things when I was a teenager, but I started my official online business in January of 2010, and in late summer 2010, I started vending as much as possible locally as well. I started only doing jewelry at first, then moved into tie dye clothing & accesorries, and when a close friend moved across country, I added hoops to my kreations because she was leaving behind some customers!

Why did you start? 

Honestly, my mom bought me a LOT of hemp, charms, beads, pendants, and cutesy containers for everything... I started making stuff for my friends and then other people kept asking. I actually started with a friend as a business partner, but she had a small son, and ended up having to leave (which was fine, I expanded so much on my own that it was a blessing in disguise).

What is your favorite thing about it? 

Honestly, seeing people wearing, using, or repping something I made them! Everything is unique, even if it's similar to another product, it's different in some way. I also love that people see me as their trusted hoop or jewelry maker.

Where would you like to take this hobby/career?

Like I said, I'm a big dreamer. Ultimately would like to be on the road, vending festivals and shows, while seeing the country and/or world.
