I've known Valor since we were small, starting with going to elementary school together, and then Jr. High. In 8th grade I moved away and we kept in touch by writing each other letters for a little while. Years later, we were able to regain contact via Facebook, and I've been happy to get to know her again and see her beautiful work.

I asked Valor a few interview questions to get to know more about her and her love of photography:
When did you get started with photography?
2007 is when I purchased my first "real" camera for a class I was taking.
Why did you start?
It was one of those things I have always known I wanted to do and it was always in the back of my mind.
Why do you love it?
It's freeing, challenging, and just nerdy enough.
Where would you like to go with this?
I'd like it to continue on as a career.
I've actually thought about this, and I think if I ever end up getting married or something someday, Valor would definitely be the photographer I'd choose. Her work is stunning, to say the least. Just look at some of her work:

Great photography! Very impressive. I found some pics on her blog that I really liked from Goblin Valley.. so pretty! I love desert pics. These are for sure my favorites.
