Ah books... You love them right? I love them. I wanted to snag this survey from The Perpetual Page-Turner and participate in it after I saw it over on Beth's blog. I didn't read nearly as many books as either of them (damn you school! *shakes fist*) but I'll do my best to see what I can put in here.
Number of books I read: 20
Number of re-reads: 0

Favorite Quote/Passage from a Book in 2014:
“There must come a time, after you've been online dating for months or even years, when you feel your spirit leaving your body. You'll stay online, but you won't even know why. You'll still sign in and look at people's profiles, just to pass the time, but you won't think of them as humans any longer. They might look like people, but then so do you, and you know that all you are anymore is a shell. You'll start flailing.” - Never Have I Every: My Life So Far Without a Date by Katie Heaney (Because it is soooo true.) |

The cute little used book store by my house. Central Book Exchange in Sugarhouse Utah. They also do a twice-yearly giant parking lot sale where everything is really inexpensive!
Did I complete any goals or challenges?
Yep, just barely! I set a goal of 20 books and I read 20 books!
How was your year in reading?

This post makes me giddy! I love books! Please tell me you're on goodreads so we can be friends? :)
ReplyDeleteI am! Just accepted your friend request on there, I LOVE Goodreads!
ReplyDeleteOh, how I love Outlander! I'm so glad you did this, because now I have new books on my reading list!
ReplyDeleteOutlander was so good, did you watch the show? I'm glad you could find something interesting to add to your list! :D
ReplyDeleteI've heard so much about Outlander, I need to add it to my must read list this year.
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of ANY of these books. I'm SOOOO behind the times. Thanks for the list. I should check some of these out.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on hitting your goal! The Hangman's Daughter is now on my wishlist (thanks). Should I put These Things Hidden on there as well? It sounds intriguing, but also maybe horrific. :/
ReplyDeleteSo glad you did this survey! :D
Outlander and Austenland are both on my "to read" list. Also, that book store sounds amazing!
