I finally gave in and decided to see what the hype was about.
I started watching:
Yup.
I totally hate Mr. Big.
Perhaps it's because he reminds me of an asshole or two that strung me along in the past? I think Carrie really needs to just move on and leave him in the dust. She keeps blowing off these really sexy men for this jerk that keeps messing with her head.
C'mon lady!

ReplyDeleteI don't know how far along you are in the TV series, but I have blogged a couple of times on Sex and The City. I HATE MR BIG. I love Aiden. You are probably not there yet. Anyway, I know there is one blog I wrote on it called YOUR GIRL IS LOVELY.... And I have several SEX AND THE CITY clips on my HERE'S TO YOU days. I LOVE IT!!!

ReplyDeleteI too have never seen 1 single episode and how strange that you posted this because just last night I saw the previews on TV for Sex in the City 2 and I thought to myself, "I sure would like to watch the series and see what the hype is all about!!"

ReplyDeleteI was hooked on it years ago. Watched them all, saw the movie and now want The Carrie Diaries book. Junkie? No, not me.... lol
ReplyDeleteOMG really? I thought I was the only person who didn't like Big! I don't know, there's just something about him that I can't stand. And it's such a flaw in Carrie's personality - she's normally so smart about men, but she's such a fool for Big. And I think that the TV series were much better than the actual movie. I just LOVE Carrie's off-screen narration, it's brilliant!
ReplyDeleteAwesome. I totally had "Sex and the City" marathon a few years ago. It took months. I'm not a huge fan of Big. Aidan is totally the man for me! He's perfect!
ReplyDeleteIt's a phase. Everyone hates Big then loves Aiden and then learns to loves Big later on. Loved the show. Watched them back when they were first aired. Saw the first movie, looking forward to the second. I think I loved it because I was old enough to relate to it.
