Drunk Bears, Lookin' Hot, and Happy Stuff

Before I get started with my pre-scheduled post for today, I'd like to stop and take a moment to send my love to Boston and all of those affected by it.  It is truly heartbreaking that there are people so broken in this world that they could do that to fellow human beings.  But it is truly beautiful how people come together in times like this to help those who were affected, to fight acts of terror, and to love.  There is so much love out there and enough light to overcome the dark.  Keep on living and loving-and do what you can to help those who are in need.  Every bright person helps add to the blinding light that hopefully will one day stamp out the darkness.

To find out how to help those in need due to this tragedy you can donate online HERE or find other ways to help (including finding people stranded in Boston places to stay, donating blood, etc.) go HERE.

This weekend was full of fun! Being the second Friday of the month we had Bingo, and this Bingo was extra special since it was Julie's birthday.  We got her good and drunk before, and then met up with some of her other friends and her parents so she could celebrate at Bingo.  It was fun, and Ivonna Cox made sure to get Julie a huge bear for her birthday.  She named him Jimmy.  Jimmy the drunk bear.

After Bingo we went out to Maggie McGees for Karaoke and a few more drinks before coming home to watch some RuPaul's drag race and pass out.  Julie was determined to get to the worm in the bottle of the Mezcal (the original Tequila) but we really didn't make it there... Oh well, we will this weekend at our birthday party!  Yay!

Saturday I spent most of the day recuperating from staying up so late on Friday.  Josh and I watched more RuPaul's Drag Race, and then got cleaned up to head out to Piper Down for Callie's Birthday celebration.  It was a lot of fun hanging out and drinking and talking with her and her friends.  Plus, both Josh and I looked super hot that night.

Sunday we got up and went to the Murray FOE (Fraternal Order of the Eagles) to volunteer and help the Utah Cyber Sluts make dinner for them.   My hair still looked rockin' awesome when I woke up.

Things to be happy about this week:
♥ My birthday is the day after tomorrow. ♥
♥ My grandma is taking me to dinner on my birthday. ♥
♥ I'm crazy busy because I have so many people who love me! ♥
♥ My birthday dinner with close friends is in three days. ♥
♥  Julie and my combined Drag Race-themed birthday party is in four days. ♥
♥ Julie and I are going shopping before the party-girls day! ♥
♥ Vacation is in eight days!  I'm so excited to go to Oregon! ♥
