8 Facts About Me

If you have Facebook, you may have noticed the game people are playing with facts about themselves.  Basically if you like their status with their facts, they give you a number and then you post a status with facts on it and give numbers out to anyone who likes it.  I was awarded the number 8, and wanted to share the facts I chose here on my blog as well.  Most of you probably know these about me, but it's good for new readers to learn a little bit about the person behind the blog.

1. When I was in high school I read 6+ books a week and now that I'm an adult with work, school, life, etc. I barely read 6 a year and it is kind of sad.
2. My life is not how I pictured it growing up, not even close-but I wouldn't change anything for the world. I forgot to picture all of these amazing friends and adventures I've ended up with, and the future I had thought up for myself would be severely lacking without them. And honestly, boring as hell comparatively. 
3. I hated my nose ring and my tattoo for roughly the first 2 months I had them. Now I can't picture myself without them.
4. I love gory movies, the bloodier the better, but can't even bring myself to kill a spider without feeling guilty for a week.
5. I went to a plastic surgeon in Tijuana once a few years ago.
6. I am loyal to a fault and love with everything I have, but I don't mind the hurt that comes when those things backlash on me. It's all about the experience, and I never want to be jaded and bitter.
7. I can't hold grudges. I get over everything eventually.
8. I hula hoop. Kind-of. I need to practice more, because I'd like to be able to do all kinds of fun and crazy tricks with it.
