Friday night we went to dinner at Cedars of Lebanon (Lebanese & Moroccan food) with our friend Brittany. It was very tasty, the owner was nice, and it was lovely spending time with her. It's nice to feel like you have friends when so many others have disappeared. After going home Josh and I watched MAMA-which was awesome. Totally creepy, but it was also this beautifully made fractured fairy-tale. I would really recommend it to anyone who likes the dark and/or horror.
Saturday I went and stayed with my grandmother to help take care of her after she had surgery on Friday. It was nice spending the evening and getting to spend some time with her and the kitties.
Sunday after getting my hair done (seriously it needed it) I spent the evening curled up on the couch sick. No bueno. Worst period ever-stupid Uterus. Sometimes I really think it would be easier to be a dude. Josh and I watched Dark Skies, which was also a pretty good little scare. I enjoy Alien movies in general, and this one was super creepy. The roommie is deathly afraid of aliens lol. Creepy movies make me happy... If you couldn't tell!
On another note... I'm trying to decide between re-watching all seasons of Sex and the City or re-watching all seasons of Six Feet Under. I've been wanting to re-watch both, just not sure which one to start with. What do you think?

I lean toward Sex and the City, but have never watched Six Feet Under, so take what you will from my recommendation.
ReplyDeletemama was the first modern-horror movie that i've seen for years that i actually enjoyed in ahorror rather than comedy sense

Sorry you hadn't been feeling well, that always sucks. Sounds like you had a great weekend nonetheless! I really want to see Mama, ha ha.
ReplyDeleteLove the hair! And, those sweet kitties. I'm a sucker for kitties. I literally feel my heart get warm and soft when I'm around them. We have 3, but I'd seriously have 100 (or more) if I knew I could provide all the food and care they'd need! :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE the hair! You are such a good granddaughter taking care of your grammie. How many kitties does she have? I'm such a big baby that I rarely watch scary movies. Did you decide which series you're going to watch? I want to watch Hamish MacBeth (all three series) and get caught-up on Dexter. I need to start season three of Dexter!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking-up!

I hope you are feeling better!
ReplyDeleteYa, probably won't be watching Mama. I like horror, but creepy kids...totally can't handle them. When I saw The Ring, I couldn't sleep for months...which actually isn't uncommon, but usually it's not because I'm terrified. Shudder.
My vote is for 6 Feet Under. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd creepy movies are just too much for me. I like the concept of interesting plots and psychological horrors, but I get scared easily and then I can't sleep. :(
I love creepy movies too! I'm glad I know about mama, because I was unsure if I should order it or not, or wait to borrow it from someone 3 years from now.
ReplyDeleteOOH! So I saw on FB yesterday, that those guys from Paranormal research society made a movie and it's supposed to be real! It comes out in September, but you can watch it for $13 online now. I've always noticed they never actually show any good parts, but the people they film seem not to be lying. I guess they aren't allowed to show a lot of that stuff on TV, but who knows? I just really want to know, for sure, if there are ghosts. I just really want to know. Feel better soon!!
You know those college kids from Penn State? Ryan? haha
