Yep, I remember when I got contacts for the first time and could wear sunglasses! So exciting! One year of contact use and I had to give it up though! I used to sleep in my contacts for a month at a time. So when I went in for my contacts appointment to get new ones I had bumps all over the back of my eyelids- an allergic reaction to the dirt and debris to wearing dirty contacts all the time. I never got good at taking them out or putting them in so I just avoided it. Plus I loved waking up in the morning and being able to see.
Basically what I got out of the doctor was, "Emily, you are not enough of a grown up to wear contacts." lol
I just wear glasses now. I have though about LASIK but my face feels so naked without glasses!
I hate contacts so last time I bought glasses I spent a ridiculous amount of money buying a pair of prescription sunglasses. I love them though so it's all good. :)
