I am not sure if it's kosher to do two posts for this, but I hope it is... I liked my last one mostly because of the art that I drew myself, however I felt I had a much better story to tell, so here it is.

e Princess & The Two Knights
Once upon a time there was a lovely princess who lived in a
great kingdom surrounded by great people. The fair maiden had been betrothed to a brave knight who had set off to slay a dragon in the name of the country. He had been gone for many months, and had given the fair maiden permission to attend court and be social without him. It was at just one such event that she attended in his absence, that she met another dashing young knight. This knight was as handsome as any she had ever seen, and he seemed so tragically beautiful that the maiden felt the need to know him more deeply.
As
the maiden spent time with her new friend, she began to understand him and care for him more and more. She missed her brave knight who had gone off on his quest, but it was easy to forget him when he was not there, and this wonderful young knight was. The maiden began to have feelings for the troubled knight, and one evening she caught him off guard by kissing him.
It was not long before the kingdom received word of the brave knights return, and they began preparing for his triumphant arrival, for his quest had been fulfilled and he could now return to the castle for good. The maiden found herself torn between her two gallant knights and love she felt for each one. When the brave knight finally returned, she decided to see them both until she could decide which one she loved more.
After a few months the damsel could not abide keeping her feelings to herself anymore. She knew that she had loved the sweet knight who had kept her company in the other’s absence more, and she would tell them both right away. She pulled her new love aside and told him that she would give anything
to be with him, and that she was going to tell the brave knight that she did want to be with him.
As soon as she had professed her love and kissed him, she raced off to tell her returned warrior of her new-found love, and to give to him also her apologies. The young knight was left to contemplate what she had said. He knew he loved her, but not enough, and he couldn’t give her everything she would need. In this, he felt that the brave knight would have suited her better, and he prepared to let her go.
So in this, the beautiful maiden burned her bridges with both of her loves. For her own confusion and indecision had caused the brave knight to be done with her as well. She spent two months missing both of her handsome knights. After that time, the brave knight came back to her and offered her another chance to be his fair maiden. They would take some time to get to know each other again, and for him to make sure she didn’t still love the young knight.
The maiden knew that she still loved the young knight, but also that she could never have him, so she convinced herself to bury the emotions and try to remember the love she'd once felt for her brave knight.
Alas, not even that was meant to be. The brave knight decided after all of that to call it off again, as he was preparing to go on another quest. The damsel begged him to stay with her, because she really cared for him and did not believe their love could survive a quest this far and this long. However, the brave knight had made up his mind and taken off anyway, leaving her to wait for his return.
A lot of time passed, and the maiden began to believe that the brave knight would never return. Indeed, it was very possible that she would never see him again. With this, the intelligent princess decided she did not need a knight to make her happy, and she stopped waiting for a heroic rescue.
This is not the story of a damsel in distress being rescued by her knight in shining armor. This is tale of the maiden who found herself, and needed no prince to rescue her, as she began to make her own way in the kingdom. For this, the maiden was respected, and she began to love and respect herself even without the love of her handsome knights. This is the story of the princess who went on to lead the kingdom even without a king, for she was strong and beautiful and could prove to the masses that she could do it herself.
And she lived Happily Ever After...
