Musical Mondays is a weekly linky party where we share a song we're into for the week, and talk about why we like it-or why it effects us. Along with talking about music, I host a month-long music related giveaway.
If my children invite me I'm not just the and when they visit me I'm transparent I look pale, I sobbed My children cleanse me, come to me unknown to believe when I see that I'm already dead If I lose the memory should not worry Is that my life is a sad day evening If I lose the reason we should not blame If this is not my house let me in the hallway If I lose the pedals, and if you're worried If it makes you too bad, or I do not know who you are And if I lose the ball do not be too sorry My head is a lot of forgotten faces I feel thrift, I'm mummy My children move me like an old manuscript and I leaves that break, I'm poorly written I feel weird, I dress too late If I think back to the times when I did, without knowing it, race with time to say goodbye If I lose the memory should not worry Is that my life is a sad day evening If I lose the reason we should not blame If this is not my house let me in the hallway If I lose the pedals, and if you're worried If it makes you too bad, or I do not know who you are And if I lose the ball do not be too sorry My head is a lot of forgotten faces If I lose the memory should not worry Is that my life is a sad day evening If I lose the reason we should not blame If this is not my house let me in the hallway If I lose the pedals, and if you're worried If it makes you too bad, or I do not know who you are And if I lose my head is too pity ayes Soon I'll be stupid and you forgotten me |
Lyrics & Translation from HERE. (Not sure how correct they are-I'm still learning!)
This is a beautiful French song that has a haunting melody and a quick pace about it. I love listening to it and trying to sing along (though I can't-it's too fast and I'm still slow with my French) in the car. But it's beautiful, just like everything Zaz does. I love pretty much everything by her.
What are you listening to this week?

ReplyDeleteOh that would be amazing, I love that dress-and that actress!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, thanks for joining us!
ReplyDeleteThank you, me too! Such a fun movie!
ReplyDeleteI've heard that! Shane from Whispering Sweet Nothings (http://www.whisperingsweetly.com/) just moved to Australia and she misses it!
ReplyDeleteI really did, it's so great!
ReplyDeleteIt is great, I'm sure she will! :D
ReplyDeleteIt really is! I thought it sounded like a good October song!
ReplyDeleteThese are some great posts. I can't wait to check them out.
ReplyDeleteThe translation isn't exactly right, but it's pretty darned good.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing Oh Rocky!!! I'm heading over the read the NaNoWriMo Success Tips post now-I've always wanted to do that too :)
ReplyDeleteYES! I know that Erin over at Two-Thirds Hazel had set one up, but I never heard the result of it or if it has happened yet.
ReplyDeleteThese are super cute, and they look great on you!
ReplyDeleteThe music in this song is absolutely gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI will cruise with you to Alaska to see the Northern Lights. Hell yes.
ReplyDeleteI DREAM of seeing the Northern Lights!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous of these glasses and how great they look on you. Your older style suits my face a lot better. I have such a small head and very short face so the darker, chunky glasses don't seem to fit it well. But but but... I like them. *pout*
ReplyDeleteThey look like they were made just for you! They make you look super sassy.
ReplyDeleteThank you! :)
ReplyDeleteThey are cute!~ I wonder if you could find a smaller version that works?
