Overtime Monies

In the spirit of all this Overtime I'm working... Here's a list of the things I'd like to buy with the extra money.  Even though most of it will probably go towards bills and fixing my car... A girl can dream right?

1. Mattresses.  Ikea has this whole set (mattress and box springs) for $199!

2.  Here's the frame I'd like, but the mattresses are more important!

3. I need a new camera, and this is what I would like...

But I'll probably end up with this...

4.  Yeah... This one will wait for a while...

Here's to another day of overtime...

Ghosts in Stony Silence

We exist in stony silence now.

It's amusing how I can go to anyone else in this room, and never have to interact with him in any way. Now and again there is the occasional glance as he walks by.  He tries to make eye contact; he wants to catch me looking at him and he wants to make me uncomfortable.

When will he learn that you don't always get what you want?

I've learned to look right through him, as if he doesn't even exist.  He doesn't exist, other than a shadow out of the corner of my eye.  A ghost that lurks with intent to haunt me, but I'm not afraid of ghosts; I've been dealing with them since I was little.

Go away silly ghost.  You don't frighten me.

Dear So & So: The Fog Smells Like Kitty Litter

Dear So and So...

Dear Readers,

It's time for Dear So & So again!  You know you love my letters, right?  Thank you all so much for reading and following, and leaving the love I so love to read!  If you want more letters when you're done reading here, head on over to Kat's and check out the other letter writers.  Also, I urge you to read yesterday's post, because it's the first deep one I've written from the heart in a while.

Much love to you all!
Angie

Dear Litter Box Fog,

Could you please let up?  I don't like feeling like I"m going to die every time I drive to and from work.  Also, due to the pollution levels, you smell like someone filtered humidifier air through a litter box, and it's rather nasty.  You leave a layer of filth on everything you settle on, and not only is it icy to clean off, but gritty and slimey too!

Please go away,
A concerned driver who'd like to breath.

***

Dear Paycheck,

It really isn't my fault that your pay period was wonky this time, therefor my Saturday shift that I was scheduled for, doesn't appear on this check.  It's soooooo small!

Slightly Annoyed,
Someone who needs a new pair of jeans.

Dear SRM a.k.a Cunty McCunterson,

You're over twice as old as me, and you still haven't learned how not to act like a spoiled 13 year old?  That's awfully ridiculous, don't you think?  When we're at work, you should act like a professional individual, and not like a whiney spoiled bitch.  That crap you pulled over a misunderstanding, when I sucked up my pride and apologized for any miscommunication (even though I hate your guts, I was trying to be professional) and you were snarky back.  Not cool.  Hostile work environments will not be tolerated.

Act like a grown-up,
Your younger and more mature coworker.

P.S.  Outside of work, should you choose to start it, I need not be professional.  Why don't you do yourself a favor and get a blog or something where you can vent about how the world is unfair to you, and you're the victim no matter what you do?  Might help you relieve some stress, and who knows-there may be some readers out there that would have a field day with your constant whining.  Have a nice day! :)

Dear Dawn,

I'm waving hello because Heather told me you read my blog!  I've heard so much about you, and I hope you enjoy what you read!

Signed,
Me

***

Dear Isha,

Yes, we need to be friends and hang out more often!  For sure!

Signed,
Your new friend.

***

Dear Beth,

Lucky you!  I hope you go to the Little Birdie Secrets party and tell me all about it!  Their blog is so awesome, and I"ll bet the get-together is super fun!  I kind of wish I could come visit for it!  Haha!

Signed,
Your long time buddy.

***

Dear Muse of Mine,

Are you really back to stay?  You better be!  I need to start writing badly!  :)

We'll see how this plays out,
Me

***

Dear E,

What.  The.  Eff?  Heather calls you my what-if guy, and you made plans with me for New Years Eve, and like usual, didn't show.  However, this time I was ready for you, when I didn't hear from you I made other plans.  Thank god I'm not sitting around waiting on you anymore.  So when you pop up in my inbox out of the blue yesterday, it was kind of surprising, and yes, I do want to go get sushi with you-if you actually follow through!  It would be very nice to see you, but I have to say I'm not holding my breath anymore.

Hope we actually get together,
Angie
