Boy doesn't it? The heart wants what it wants, even when the brain tells it otherwise over and over and over again. The heart is a glutton for punishment. The heart is a masochist. The brain tries to see reason and then the heart gives in so much that the brain gets a giant dopamine rush to shut it up. Then the brain gets addicted... It craves that rush released when the heart is getting it's way for a minute... It keeps telling you "no no no this is bad for you-but oh it feels so good." Love is a drug after all.
Sorry I missed last week, I forgot to schedule something for Musical Mondays and then when I got home in the afternoon from Oregon I was too exhausted/depressed about being back to log in and find something. I literally put a move on and fell asleep on the couch at 4:30PM. My flight got in at 3:50PM. ReplyDeleteThe beginning of the song makes me laugh. It was listed on a "Top misunderstood lyrics" list or something like that because when she's doing that weird whining thing at the beginning of "What the heart wants", it sounds like "WTF Why?" Listen again. Too funny,
