I love candles. I've always been someone who loves to light them and have them burning in the room, or sit and watch them for a while. Plus, scented candles? Fabulous. Light a scented candle for aroma therapy or to make the room feel warm and homey while you're preparing for a party-perfection. So when offered the chance to pick some Old Factory Candles off of Amazon and review them, I picked the Winter Wonderland candle set. How much more homey can you get than Winter Wonderland... I mean there's a Hot Cocoa scented candle. Wintery perfection.
The three candle scents it came with were First Snow, Roasted Chestnut, and Hot Cocoa. I felt pretty eh about the First Snow idea, but Roasted Chestnut and Hot Cocoa? SOLD! I placed my order and couldn't wait for them to arrive. What a perfect time of the year to have this show up in the mail-and with Amazon Prime shipping... I didn't have to wait very long.
I was concerned when I received my order and the label showed two First Snow candles and no Hot Cocoa. I was about to be extremely unhappy, but I opened them and smelled them and luckily one was just mislabeled, but it was still a Hot Cocoa candle hiding under the First Snow sticker. So I lit them up to see how they burn and smell.
They smelled wonderful, and surprisingly they smelled even better all burning together. You wouldn't think those scents go together, but they did a perfect job matching candles. They smelled wonderful, and suddenly my apartment smelled like a Winter Wonderland... Wonderful.
One lucky winner can have a Winter Wonderland candle set for themselves!
