Did you ever read Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark when you were a kid? I did, and it was one of my absolute favorites. In fact I just bought them again (the originals, not the remake-hello!) when I heard there was going to be a movie. Then one day my friend Halee posted a link to a Kickstarter campaign on my Facebook page that also ties in with that nostalgia.
The Kickstarter campaign is for The Ritual Abuse Tarot Deck by Ryan Scheffield, which is a charcoal ode to the art of Stephen Gammell and the book of stories by Alvin Schwartz. Yes, it's kind of creepy, but it's creepy beautiful and I totally backed the cause. I'll be getting a deck of the cards and a print with my backing choice. I'm kind of excited to see how they turn out when I receive them.
