The Zoo & a Relaxed Weekend

Mostly my weekend was pretty relaxed without much going on, but I took the day off of work Friday to go to the zoo with Rocky.  It was nice to have a day off, I spent the morning cleaning the house and then in the afternoon we went up to Hogle Zoo.  After the zoo we hung out and watched Doctor Who, and then went to the Devil's Daughter that evening for nachos and to hang out with my friends.

1 // I got dolled up-I'm loving tinted lip balm.  2 // Rocky being silly with the drinking fountain. 3 // Spider Monkey making faces. 4 // Mama and baby elephant. 5 // Mama and Baby Elephant. 6 // Rhino. 7 //Bald Eagle. 8 // Seal playing. 9 // Two grizzly's wrestling and punching each other. 10 // Leopard. 11 // Tiger sleeping.  12 // Giraffes. 13 // Giraffe showing me his good side.  14 // The silly little lizard who desperately wanted out.  He kept scratching the glass.  15 // Fruit bat eating.  He kept dropping his food and looking at us like "Where did it go?"

Saturday I slept in and then kind of lazed about.  I wasn't feeling very well, so I didn't even leave the house.  Josh and I just ordered a pizza and watched movies. I really loved Beasts of the Southern Wild, but kept falling asleep during Zero Dark Thirty.

I was also happy to receive my order from Le Box Boutique on Saturday.  I only ordered it Thursday so it was amazing that she shipped it so fast, and it was full of fun.  I ordered some packaging supplies for my shop (I'm going to work to better present things when they're ordered) and some Washi Tape which is my new addiction.

Sunday I didn't do much, but I did get up and try to clean and organize my room a bit.  I'm trying desperately to dejunk more and get my craft/art stuff in working order.  I bought some boxes and am going to store my paper craft stuff in them instead of the giant totes I have in the closet.  Then I fell asleep watching Friends with Benefits.

I also decided to change the ring I've worn every day for the last year or so.  I've been wearing moonstone which brings change and healing, and now I'm wearing Tourmilinated Quartz instead.  It's said to help energy, relieve tension, block detrimental environmental elements, and help stop self-sabotage (which I am very good at.)  It's also very pretty to look at, which makes me happy.

I've also recently decided to start paying attention to beauty regimens.  So I tried my hand at a mud mask last night, and it was pretty cool! I love this Clean-Up Mud by Montagne Jeunesse.  It's full of all this natural stuff like Aloe, Willow, Mediterranean Clay, Rosemary, Evening Primrose, and Witch-hazel   I love when my products are natural, and I will definitely be using their products again.  I have two more at home to try.
