I really do consider myself one of the luckiest people. I have amazing friends and we go on grand adventures together-even if I do end up spending way too much money on them!
Friday night was Gay Bingo with the Utah Cyber Sluts (it's for charity!) and the theme this month was Super Heroes. I bought a bunch of nail polish to try and do Ninja Turtle nails, and they turned out really crappy and then I messed them up really badly so I ended up taking them off.
At Bingo, the roommate and Maxie helped by volunteering, so I got to sit down and hang out with sweet Ortie. We talked and hung out, had a beer, and played Bingo-it was fun! After Bingo we headed out with the Cyber Sluts to Paper Moon (where we only spent a few minutes before heading to Mixx.

Saturday morning we really wanted to get out because the weather was gorgeous, so first we headed to Gracie's where I tried a Curry Burger for breakfast/lunch. It was amazing! So yummy!
After food we decided to be out in the sunshine, but to also go have a peek at some oddities. We walked over to Squatters to buy a couple of bottles of Red as Hell Ale, the new Radio From Hell beer we've been wanting to try.
After that we headed over to Gilgal Sculpture Garden. I had never heard of this place before (despite being a Utah native) and man is creepy... Basically this extremely religious Mormon guy who was also a stone mason. He just started creating statues in his back yard, and eventually they turned it into a public place. We walked through there and found things such as dismembered body part sculptures, scriptures and verse carved into every stone, and a Sphynx with Joseph Smith's head... I'm telling you, it would be really creepy at night-since it was kind of creepy during the day even...
Sunday we went to the Tattoo Expo with Kristi, Ken and the kids, and met up with Doug and Julie. It was fun to wander, and to finally meet the girl that is running Cause for Paws (the charity I'm volunteering for now.)

After the expo we tried to go to KoKo Kitchen, but they were closed, so we made our way over to Settebello for authentic Italian pizza and yummy gelato!
Other things I'm happy for this week:
- I got my room half way clean. At least the clothes part...
- Doug's birthday party is this weekend-I really need to clean the house...
- I figured out how to make in line applications work for Cause for Paws.
- I finished my writing test and submitted it for that position yesterday. Even if I don't get it, at least I gave it a good go!
- I get to work some overtime this week! Yay extra money!
What are you happy about this week?
