This week's song:
Send Me the Moon
Holdin' my breath
Last one I've got left
'Til I see you
Deliver my heart with the pieces and parts of me left
Every last day seemed to carry the weight of a lifetime
Watch from the ground as the gold fluttered down from the sky
Sweet sun
Send me the moon
Empty the skies out
Bringing me one step closure to you
Send it soon
And I will breath in, breath out,
'Til you come in and out of view
Of view
Inches away from you scared what I'll take from you darlin'
I could live with your ghost if you say that's the most that I'll get
Darkness to light move from day into night to be near you
Still here I stand, I am sinking like sand in your see
Sweet sun
Send me the moon
Empty the skies out
Bringing me one step closure to you
Send it soon
And I will breath in, breath out,
'Til you come in and out of view
Oh you already do
Never you mind where the evening shall find us together
Distance can't take what is hidden here safe in my chest
Wait for the day when we finally say "Now, or never."
'Til then I'll be here wanting more as I settle for atmosphere
Sweet sun
Send me the moon
Empty the skies out
Bringing me one step closure to you
Send it soon
And I will breath in, breath out,
'Til you come in and out
I will breath in, breath out, 'til you come in and out
I will breath in, breath out, 'til you come in and out
Of view

Ahhhh I'm a sap, and I'll fully admit it. Sara Bareilles is one of my favorite singers, this song is one of my favorite songs, and this album one of my all time favorite albums. I've listened to this song several times before but it never really connected with me quite like it does now. There's that element of waiting to see one, of the time it's taking and each day you're hoping that they'll go by faster until you are physically with that person-it's romantic and frustrating. It gives me something great to look forward to, and even if it's not an ideal situation, I plan to enjoy every minute of it.
On another similar note... I'm talking to the bosses today about getting time off and then I'm buying plane tickets! Exciting! When I asked him "Is November too early to come visit?" He said "Tomorrow is not too early." Amazing. He never says the wrong thing.
