Are you a nail polish lover?  I know most of my readers are women, so I'm betting more than a few of you like to paint your nails all pretty.  How many of you have been introduced to Indie nail polish?  What's Indie nail polish you ask?  Well, it's nail polish you can't just go down to the drugstore and buy because it's handmade by some awesome small business owner-generally you find them online.

Today I'd like to introduce you to one of my absolute favorite Indie nail polish makers, Esther, from Philly Loves Lacquer.  Esther has come such a long way with her polishes since she first opened a small Etsy shop and sold a few creations.  She now makes some of the most gorgeous holographic nail colors you'll find anywhere-all from her home city of Philadelphia.  Her local love shows through in a lot of her nail polish colors, such as her Fancy Winter Wench Collection which is includes 8 absolutely stunning colors based off of the Philadelphia Mummers.  Another hometown favorite is It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia which is a gorgeous holo top coat.  You can make ANY color holographic with it!

Psssst... She also makes customs.  She is an absolutely amazing human being and made me a custom memorial nail polish and sent it to me as a surprise when the bunny died.  She even named it For The Love of Pitre and included a sweet little note!  I have so much love in my heart for this woman!

I really love this song.  The video is emotional, but listening to the song without watching the video has a different meaning for me.  It makes me think back to the people I've loved in the past, those people that part of me will always love, long after I'm over the hurt-and over them.  I think it's time I give up on them.

Sure I've moved on.  I'm dating other people and trying to find someone new to love, but part of them haunts me, and perhaps it always will-but I have to stop giving it the power to.  I have to give up on them. I have to let their memories go, and stop letting the past hurt and fear influence how I go forward with others.

A Hefty Dose of the Weekly Round Up

♥ Ashlie from Painting Bliss was very real, and very brave on her blog.  She opened up to talk about her depression and how she hasn't previously due to the embarrassment that is felt due to it.  But she has a point-not enough people are talking about it publicly.  Maybe if more people had the guts to step forward like Ashlie did and discuss it-it wouldn't be so taboo and people would be more apt to seek help or support.  I applaud her-and everyone who is brave enough to be vulnerable.

♥ Sadly, Ricki-Jill from Art @ Home was hacked over the holidays and is dealing with fixing some fraud issues with her gmail and credit cards.  But, she's sharing how you can check to see if your gmail has been accessed by someone you didn't authorize!  It's good info to have!

♥ Just look at this!  Jessica from My Bag of Sunshine created a Hitchcock themed room in her new house!  She is sooooo creative and it's gorgeous, and there are more pictures in her post!

♥ A Dose of Paige shared these super cute DIY Tile Coasters!  I want to try it!

♥ Did you see that Mamarazzi is back?  For some of you, it may seem weird that so many of us are excited about this... But for so many of us-Mamarazzi taught us how to grow our blogs.  She taught us about swapping.  Aaaaaand I met some of my best bloggy buddies through her blog!  Welcome back Mamarazzi!
