I Hope You Get Eaten by Zombies

I know I've mentioned this before, but I have to write about it.
There are only 6 more days to be an initial backer of this awesome game.
One of my very best friends in the whole world is the creator.

He's poored his heart and soul into finishing this game.
It's finally getting published, and they're asking for backers.
I bought 4 copies so I can give them out for Christmas.
I'll also be giving one away here on the blog.  It'll be huge.

This is a fantastic Christmas idea.
If you order them now, you get discounted shipping.
And if we hit $40,000 pledged in the next few days they're giving these away free:

A die to use to count the zombies! 1 for every copy you order!
Here's a detailed review, check it out:

There are all sorts of cool things you can pledge to get deals for.
Check it out, and PLEASE if you know someone who loves games,
or loves Zombies, or just in general likes unique local things-Pledge for some copies.
Check it out here:

You Can't Keep Letting It Get You Down

No you can't keep lettin' it get you down,
And you can't keep draggin' that dead weight around.
If there ain't all that much to lug around
Better run like hell when you hit the ground.

When the morning comes.

When the morning comes.

You can't stop these kids from dancin'

Why would you want to?
Especially when you're already gettin' good.
'Cause your mind don't move and your knees don't bend,
But don't go blamin' kids again.

I was introduced to this song this weekend by a friend of the roommate's and thought it was so catchy and the video is fantastic.  OK Go is more famous for their videos than their music I think, and you can see why-each is so gloriously choreographed and creative.  From their first video for Here It Goes Again where they danced on treadmills, to this, to White Knuckles which is filled with puppies and IKEA furniture, to many more.  They're incredibly creative.

This message is also something I think most of us need to remember more often.  You can't keep letting it get you down.  You just can't.  There are things in this world you have no control over, and the one thing you do control is how they affect you.  So you can't keep letting it get you down.  You need to pick yourself back up and dust yourself off-and be happy.  That's all you can shoot for, and that's all you have control over.

What song are you loving this week?

Man Candy Monday: David Tennant

David Tennant

Julie forced me to sit down and start watching Dr. Who.  It was something I'd been planning on doing for a while (I'm a big Torchwood fan) but she finally made it happen.  I have to say, the first season I had a rough time getting into it, even though I liked it-I didn't feel hooked.  Then when the second season happened and the Doctor changed, I hated David Tennant.

But as the season went on, I really started to like him.  We just finished the second season (Aw Rose *tear*) and I'm totally in love with him.  He has this quirky sense of humor that just makes him soooo sexy.  It's that whole "sexy is an attitude."  It doesn't hurt that he looks adorable in his suit.
