I Confess...
I was in a good mood this morning until I got to work and immediately got customers that are not only really dumb, but rude too.  I think there should be a rule about being dumb and rude.  You can either be one or the other but not both; that is if you must be either of those at all.

We got Gayvid's hand me down futon and I was going to put it in my room, but it was so huge I hated it in there.  When the roommate recommended we put it in the living room so people can actually use it, I loved that idea! It took us a couple hours to figure out how to rearrange the living room, but I kind of like it now...

When I'm texting a guy and he says I look like "a younger hotter version" of his mother-I worry about his motives.  Weird...

I am really liking carpooling now.  Not only do I only have to drive every other week and I fill my tank less, but the long drive goes so much faster! Also, we get to laugh at the suckers stuck in traffic at 72nd south as we zip past them in the carpool lane.

I have not eaten well this week, and my water intake was pitiful-but I DID hula hoop twice for an hour each! So that's progress!

Clubbing With Grannies!

A few weekends ago we took the roommate's gran and her friend out on the town for a night of drinking and partying.  First we went to Gay Bingo, then to Piper Down Pub for dinner and beers, and then to the Gay Bar for more drinking and some dancing.  I was the DD, so I got to be sober and watch the festivities ensue.  Here are some photos.

Now I Want to Go Christmas Shopping...

1. What is your favorite Holiday.

Halloween.  Hands down.  I love the lore, ancient history, and traditions all over the world that surround it.  Plus, I've always been a big fan of the supernatural and who doesn't like dressing up like something scary or crazy and having the night of your life?  LOVE! Can't wait!

2. Do you have any fun holiday traditions?  What are they?

When I was little, my mom would always give us PJs to open on Christmas eve, so we'd have new jammies for Christmas morning.  Also, when my witchy sister Melaniegrace used to live with me, we'd always get gifts for each other on holidays like Halloween and others.  I miss those days.

3. When do you start Christmas Shopping?

Ummmm.... Well I start thinking of all my awesome ideas about now-I have so many plans for Christmas this year! :)  Actual shopping will probably be started the first week of December.

4. What is your favorite Holiday food?

My homemade Mulled Cider.  I call it my witches brew, but it works for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas! P.S. I totally need to do what's in the following picture this year with my cider! :)

5. Share a favorite childhood holiday memory.

I think one of my most memorable childhood holidays was Christmas when I was in the 8th grade.  After years of moving around my parents bought a house on some farmland down by Spanish Fork and we moved in exactly on Christmas eve.  All we had were a change of clothing, our mattresses on the floor, and the Christmas tree and presents.  I got to spend time with my honorary uncle Floyd while my parents gathered some of the things we needed, and then spent the night with my rum-induced-jolly dad and my family.  It was warm and exciting.

6.  Have you ever actually tried Fruitcake?

Yes.  Anything storebought or overly loaded with fake fruit is NASTY.  YUCK! Though I have once had homemade fruitcake that I actually liked.
