Swap Reveal: Favorite Color Swap

By now you should know that I am a co-host over at the blog swapping blog, Chaotic Goddess Swaps.  My partner in crime is the fabulously talented Beth over at Printcess.  We've been friends for so many years, and it turns out our working relationship is just as great because we balance each other out.  I design and market while she plans and keeps everything in good running order.  I'm so grateful for that because I have very few organizational skills. lol

If you're not sure what a blog swap is, it's where you get matched up with another blogger for a themed swap.  You get to know your blogger, and then you each send each other packages within that theme.  It's so much fun!  Recently we hosted our Favorite Color Swap, a swap where you send your partner a box of goodies in their favorite color.  I was matched up with Erin from Erin Everyday, her favorite color is Purple and she loves elephants.  See what I got her HERE.

My favorite color is Teal, and here is what she sent me:

The package included a turquoise bracelet, a wood glittery bird, a small stuffed turquoise elephant (funny thing, I almost bought her one like this but they didn't have any in purple at the store!), a cute little birdhouse (with glitter inside and a floral roof), a clipboard with a floral background, and some turquoise skull earrings (man, I have a think for these little skull beads!).  It was such a great package and she really picked, and it looks like she made (did you make the wooden things Erin?), things that I totally love.  She was such a great partner!

Books 'n' Blogger Recap (+ Mug O'Comfort Recap)

Hello friends!  I'm in Canada now, but I wanted to share my latest Chaotic Goddess Swap participation.  We just hosted our wildly successful Books 'n' Bloggers Swap-and I was matched up with the amazing Jessica from Writing Pearls.  Guess what?  She's a real life writer!  I'm so excited to know her-and she's already inspiring me to go on and start writing more-which I've wanted to do since I was a child.

Jessica was also extremely patient as the Universe seemed stacked against me sending her a package. I went to package it up and send it and found that one of the books I'd bought used had whole pages whited out (UGH-That makes me livid that someone would do that to a book) and that I'd forgotten to actually place the order on the third book I was sending.  So I got on Amazon and had an order shipped directly to her, but it was lost/damaged in transit so they refunded me and made me start all over!  Then somehow she ended up with duplicates.  See what I sent her HERE.

She sent me All the Light We Cannot See and This Whole Golden World which were both on my wish list, Just Pru, and also a book of her own poetry-how cool is that?  The extras she added were so sweet too.  A soft blanket, some dark chocolate, sesame sticks for healthy snacking, some Mary Kay, and a little plant pod for when I get a house.  She's such a great bloggy friend!

As for Mug O'Comfort... I'm going to start by saying I got totally caught up in school, work, house hunting, etc. and completely forgot to post this recap.  I feel bad, because I was paired with Stephanie of In Her Wonderland and she is AMAZING-so here's what she sent me!  See what I sent her HERE.

I love this mug.  When you poor hot coffee in it the face changes to awake!  She also sent some Tea, a cute necklace, some toys for Emma (who loved those fishes), and the book The Diviners which was on my wish list!  Thanks so much Stephanie!  Sorry this took me forever...

January Books 'n' Bloggers Swap Reveal

Hey loves! I wanted to share with you an amazing swap package I just received as part of the Books 'n' Bloggers swap we host over at Chaotic Goddess Swaps.  I was partnered with Lisa of Books in the Burbs, and this girl is awesome.  Not only does she regularly write about books and book-related goodness, she sends a mean swap package, just look at this!

Not only did she send me four books and some book related goodness, but she also sent me an eBook before my package arrived to make sure I had something to hold me over until the box showed up on the doorstep.  She sent me the eBook Eleanor and Park from my wishlist.  So much fun.

Books 'n' Bloggers-The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Wait, I know the holidays are supposed to be "the most wonderful time of the year" but I can't help but look forward to the Books 'n' Bloggers swap every year... It was great when we started doing it twice, but this year?  We're doing it THREE TIMES.  You read that right, there will be three Books 'n' Bloggers Swaps over at Chaotic Goddess Swaps.  Heavenly.

Swapoween 2014 Recap

As many of you know, I co-host a blog called Chaotic Goddess Swaps, a blog where we partner bloggers up to send fun packages to each other.  One of our most popular swaps is Swapoween, a yearly swap where bloggers send fun Halloween-themed packages to their partners.  This year I was paired up with the lovely Kelly, from Kelly's Kinda Crazy.  Look what she sent:

Local Flavor Swap Show-Off

Ah, I'm soooo late posting this.  Life got away from me entirely over the last few weeks-and sadly the blog isn't the only thing I'm behind on.  I'm behind on my school work and housework as well.  Gah! I'm working on getting caught up.

As most of you know, I co-host the blog Chaotic Goddess Swaps where we do blogging swaps.  The last one we did was the Local Flavor Swap where you send your partner stuff from your local area.  I was partnered up with the lovely Alyssa from Sincerely, Alaska.  She lives in South Carolina and sent me this fantastic box of goodies:

I love this towel.  I may not live in the South, but I'm pro giving it a cocktail and parading it on the front porch!  I love it!   She also included some delicious Key Lime cookies (I'm a huge lime fan), some cornbread mix (I LOVE cornbread!), a mason jar with pretty straw and some half and half tea/lemonade mix, and a cute book of Charleston recipes that I can't wait to try!  Thank you Alyssa!  See what I sent her HERE.
