- I really love Hula-Hooping. Especially now that I've gotten the hang of it a little. I just want to do it all the time now! I just wrote about how obsessed with it I am over HERE.
- I'm absolutely dying for it to be the end of July/first of August so I can go on my road trip along the Pacific Coast from SF to Seattle. I'm so glad we decided to do that!
- Even though I may not see a difference in my weight, and the scale might not see a difference-people around me have. They assured me they weren't just being nice, and they were being dead honest.
- If a friendship takes a massive amount of work to keep it going, then it's work and not a relationship. (Thanks Josh!) Sometimes you have to let go of those, no matter how much you love someone. In turn, letting go of the bad relationships makes me even more grateful for the ones who are around and filling my life with love. I ♥ you all so much!
- Apparently peace signs and rainbows scream my name. I guess I get that, and I like it. :) I almost bought some batman floor mats-but they pointed out that the rainbow peace sign ones look more like me. So those are the ones I bought.
- I really am not the biggest fan of the 4th of July. Especially when it falls on a weekday, because I had to be up for work at 6am this morning, and the fireworks people were lighting off in the street outside my window went on until about that time. It sucked!
- I LOVED the documentary called "Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead" and we watched it last night. I am going to do a "Reboot" of my system along the lines of what he did. It looks amazing, and I'll do a post with more details over at Health NOT to Health NUT soon! Time to buy a juicer! If you have Netflix, I highly recommend adding it to your queue.
How was your weekend?
Was that on Netflix instant play? I'll have to check it out tonight, I'm a sucker for eating/food/weight loss/eating disorder documentaries.
ReplyDeleteThanks- I'll check that out. I'm so glad that you're enjoying hooping! Have you learned any moves or tricks? All I can do is plain old around-the-waist hooping, in one direction. Hrmmmm. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm excited that I get to see you in a few weeks! :D
I'm not a July 4th fan either! I love your scale photo. :)
ReplyDeletethey were popping fireworks in our neighborhood last night too. G had the hardest time going to sleep.
ReplyDeletePardon my French, but No. F***ing. Way.
ReplyDeleteI can get here via your other blog, but not otherwise. WTBF?
Anyway ... Yes! Do road trip! I'm trying to get a friend to do a Seattle to SF - so I'm laughing there. Seattle; Pike Place. The Pink Door restaurant - right by Pikes; GO THERE! Always amazing. When you walk by the Chocolate Factory think of me. I think I sold my soul there over millions of vats of fudge and caramel. And when you hit the waterfront look to the West, then slightly north - because I see Seattle from the beach quite easily. I'll send happy vibes. ;)
I just came across that video literally last night - no shit. I almost watched it but then thought .. nah. I'll have to watch it now.
Great minds think alike.
Nice post...
ReplyDeleteIsn't it a wonder that we never cease to learn,
no matter how small or trivial the those things are.
Oh! I love hula-hooping too... so much fun ♥
So glad you're into hoola-hooping! I suck at it. The fireworks thing would piss me off, too....
