Parties & Pups

This picture makes me happy.  I took it this weekend, isn't it the cutest ever?  He really loves his toys.

I'm happy for small parties with close friends.  Friday night we threw Doug a birthday party, and while not many people came-it seemed like the perfect amount because of who was there.  We played Rock Band and sang Karaoke, and just hung out with a few close friends and two dogs.

I'm also happy for great brunches with friends.  Saturday morning Jon, Meggy, and David hosted a Waffle brunch.  There were a lot of people in that tiny apartment, but it was fun to hang out and eat yummy waffles.

I'm happy I have my grandmother, though incredibly sad she's losing her home and moving away.  That's a whole piece of my childhood that will be gone, and my heart breaks.  But that's a post for another day...  I got to see here and check on my sick cat on Saturday, then we went for dinner together.

I am happy for quiet nights in.  Saturday and Sunday were very chill, I just relaxed at home with the roommate.  He also got Petre out to sit and watch TV on his lap.

And this picture makes me laugh really hard.  I am happy I have a roommate who is silly like me, and we have so much fun together!

Mentally Exhausted

I confess that I really don't have anything for you today my friends. This week has been extremely busy and I'm so mentally exhausted I find myself just staring at this blank "Create Post" page and going "Huh?"

I've worked 5.75 hours of overtime this week, which isn't really that much except for the fact that it's been extremely busy at work and we're really short handed.  Lots and lots of mental strain and my my new desk at work is really cold! My fingers freeze a lot.

I finished my re-test for that position I interviewed for and turned it in on Monday. A few days later he asked me what I'd like to make (how do you answer that?  I have no idea...) and that's been the last I've heard.  I'm okay either way.

Not only busy with work, but I've been trying all week to update the shelter animals and menu options over at CauseforPawsUtah.org and finally have them pretty close.  The menu is snazzy-part of me wants to switch to Wordpress just to have a menu like that, except that it's much more needlessly complex than Blogger is...

I have been on Pinterest twice this week, and one is right now while I'm writing this post looking for a picture to put with it.  Ha! I haven't been visiting blogs-just no time! Sorry for that, I still love you and hope to be back next week.

Last night I was out way too late on a work night. We went to Buffalo Wild wings for a beer, wings and pub trivia, and then to Brian's play.  It was fun, but I didn't get home until almost 10:30 and then not to bed until much later than that.  Yuck.

Also, as soon as I'm off work I have to run to the bank, and then frantically home to try and get my house in shape for Doug's birthday party we're hosting tonight.

Tomorrow I have Jon's brunch and then I'm headed over to my grandma's to have my grandpa look at my breaks because they're making scary noises, and to say goodbye to my kitty who is dying.  Boo.  I need a break!

I can't wait to go to sleep tonight! Ha!
