1. Laying in Kristi's canopy bed was pretty magical. 2. Madison tugging on Kat's pants-I love her facial expression. 3. Baby love-Kat and me. 4. She was trying to block her brother's incessant kisses. 5. Kat and Mckenzie meet-they loved each other! 6. Kat playing with the monkey. 7. I can't believe Jax is this big! he's huge!
Saturday night I went to Rocky's house and we had a lovely lazy date. I made nachos and homemade guac, and then we cuddled while he worked on coursework and I watched Netflix. I am really digging this boy, I hope things work out.
Sunday was pretty lazy, until the roommate and I went to the store to get groceries as we plan on juicing for the next week or so. Unfortunately once we got home we found out the Juicer was dead (cause of death: unknown) and decided we have to buy a new one-so we used the blender instead... I think the recipe needs to be changed for the blender. It wasn't my favorite.
This week's Happy list:
- The Sweethearts Swap-go sign up! Also my giveaway, only 2 days left to enter, so go enter now!
- My amazing bloggy friends, especially Ricki Jill and Beth who have offered me amazing words of advice and comfort. Also Aubrey, for aptly pointing out my theme song right now should be You Got it Bad by Usher. :P
- Rocky is super communicative. So no matter where we are I know I can count on him to tell me how he feels and be honest-that is a godsend.
- Also him calling just to say hi before he goes to work makes me happy. I was cranky all day yesterday, but then he called and I was cheerful the rest of the evening.
- Roxberry makes me happy. My smoothie was gross, but Roxberry has Kale/Spinach based smoothies that are delicious.

The little ones are So cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad things are working out with you two, you sound so happy!
ReplyDeleteomg the babies are so cute and i've been hearing alot about juicing but not sure how to start something like that but sounds interesting. So happy things are going well for you and Rocky hope it continues to do so

I saw your pics on instagram and I started to wish I had a Roxberry. I love to drink shakes. I just hate making them. And I am the type of person that has to "chew" on something to trick myself into thinking I'm eating. So a shake works for breakfast or lunch but I HAVE to eat dinner. I suck.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, thanks for linking up and good luck with your boy! I'm so happy you're happy!! xoxo
This may be the first blog post that I have ever read that started with how wonderful doing laundry was.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your happy list! Hope things work out with that boy for you too - the lazy date sounds wonderful!
ReplyDeleteSo much happy! I'm glad I can be here to help and encourage. And I'm so excited about the swap!! :D
ReplyDeleteBabies are so bloody cute...........great pictures
ReplyDeleteI am so happy that you have someone that makes you happy. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
ReplyDeleteI cannot bring myself to try a smoothie with vegetables in it, some things are made to chewed while others are meant to be drank. Spinach should never come through a straw, ever, and kale is just for garnish. That is of course just my opinion, a very unhealthy one I know but I just can't do it.
Thanks for joining the party!
