April 2012
- My Musical Monday selections for April were: I Was a Mermaid and Now I'm a Pop Star, Little Talks, Night After Night, No Pressure Over Cappuccino, and Hot in Herre.
- I spent Easter with my family.
- I turned 26 and had drunken gummy bears at my party. (Recipe in the post)
- I fell in love with this poem.
- I reviewed Two Kisses For Maddy (a great book!)
- I got a raise.
May 2012
- My Musical Monday selections for May were: Clumsy Card House, All That I Am, and Glass.
- I tried African food for the first time.
- I woke up to a Police Standoff and Hostage situation outside my house, and was late for work since I couldn't leave.
- I participated in the Favorite Color Swap.
- I volunteered at the Pet Super Adoption with Cause for Paws Utah.



- Beth and I Hosted the Books and Bloggers Swap.
- I started volunteering at the Adoption Center in Trolley Square too.
June 2012
- My Musical Monday Selections for June were: Secret, Far Away, Her Morning Elegence, and Little Black Sandals.
- I volunteered with CFPU at Pride, and saw Alien's the Puppet Musical.
- Ricki Jill and I hosted a Summer Smashing Party.
- I was able to see my honorary kids that I hadn't seen in 6 months since their dad and I stopped speaking.


- I started accepting sponsorship on my blog.
- I started creating art again and fell in love with Watercolor pencils.


- Pretty much everywhere in Utah was on fire.

Girl your 3 months were seriously crazy busy! There was not 1 dull moment in that recap post! The children are adorable and I'm glad you got to see them despite the friend you used to know <--nice way to bring that song out.... and I'm loving the gummy bear recipe!! I think i'll have to share that one too!

Was reading your police standoff post! How crazy! Glad you didn't have to evacuate. I have never had African food- I want to try it now! Love the eyes on your second drawing, you are very talented!

Whew, I'm so glad the hostage situation ended well and no one got hurt. Those drunken gummy bears look amazing.

ReplyDeleteAh, another fun and busy several months. You've had a very active year, with the volunteering and co-hosting swaps, and parties, and work being so full. Yay! :)
