January 2012
- My favorites as of January 2012 were...
- My rats died. :( I still miss them from time to time.
- My Musical Monday choices for January were: A Girl, a Boy, and a Graveyard, Human Punching Bag, Thanks for Your Time, and No More Drama.
- I decided that my word of the year was "Simplify".
- My poor snake had a near-death experience with a bad infection, and I had to give her 10 days worth of shots to help take care of her!
- I set some goals and decided to try and buy a house.
- I wrote an awesome post called If My Life Were a Movie saying which celebrities would play the people in my life. It was so fun!
February 2012
- My Musical Monday selections for February were: Judas, Stronger, Guns and Horses, and Turn and Turn again.
- I set up a Shared Secured Loan so I could fix my credit.
- I got to see my grandma Dottie for the first time in years.
- I started the Monthly Goals Linky.
- I went to Mardi Gras bingo with the Utah Cyber Sluts.
- I grieved for my lost friendship and the loss of my honorary kids.
- I became really into fighting BSL and standing up for Pit Bulls.
- I started volunteering with Cause for Paws Utah.
- I had lots of wonderful adventures with my friends.
March 2012
- My Musical Mondays selections for March were: Love Interruption, Home is Wherever I'm With You, History Repeating, and Part of Me.
- I participated in Mamarazzi's Favorite Things swap and was partnered with Mamarazzi herself!
- Gayvid moved to Seattle, so we had one last lunch together.
- I went to the Tattoo Expo with my friends, where Julie got her first tattoo and Kristi's kids entered a coloring contest.
- I avoided my ex who happened to be in Wal Mart at the same time as me. The one time I actually went to Wal Mart.
- I applied for a Technical Writing position at work and did not get it.
- I saved over $500 to my savings account.

You did some pretty awesome, turning-over-a-new-leaf stuff this year! It feels like you've been volunteering for Paws and helping Pitties for a lot longer than 11 months! :)
ReplyDeleteYea! So glad you are recapping with us! And oh you are brave having to give shots to a snake! I just don't think I could do it. My friend growing up had a rat- they really do make awesome pets.

And yea Walmart usually is a good place to avoid.

You just about gave me a heart attack with the snake picture. I must admit, snakes scare the begeezus out of me! I love you wrote a post on if my life were a movie. Now you have me thinking!
