I helped Matt's kids make Valentine's Day Cards today.
It was so a constructive activity while I babysat, while he went shopping for a certain little girl's birthday gifts. Not only was it a way to keep them occupied, but it was incredibly fun to do with them. They did all the drawing, and design, and writing themselves. I just helped cut things out and trace over with the glitter glue pens (since they were not only difficult for little hands, but messy too!)
In the process of letting them do their own spelling, I got to see some really funny words. Like "To Dabby" and Kristina got spelled "Kresteena" by Miss H and "Kstena" by Little D. It was adorable. I had so much fun doing this with them.
What a great day!
