Review: Let's Get a Little Weirder with Those Firmoo Glasses

Hey, remember a few months back when I had a whole breakthrough about my glasses that I got from Firmoo?  I mean, my whole life I'd just chosen the basic metal frames (like this first pair I got from them) and I thought I was perfectly happy with them.  Until I broke the mold and ordered those big-framed black glasses and found I was in love.

So when Firmoo contacted me again this time to do a new Summertime review, I decided I wanted to get a little weirder with my choice.  You only live once right?  I'm working to embrace my weirdness, so I picked the biggest frames and a funky pattern (hello, they're half turquoise half tortoise) and dove right in.

Firmoo #F1009

The pair I ordered were #F1009 and they very conveniently arrived just before my birthday, so I was able to debut my new look at my party with my friends and family.  I received so many fun compliments on them that evening, and I've been wearing them ever since!  They're big, and they're bold, and they definitely make me feel like I'm embracing my inner weirdness-I love them so!

So here's to our inner weirdness!  I'll raise a glass to that! And you?  Snag yourself a cool new pair of glasses from Firmoo.  You can keep up with the hottest new frames on their New Arrivals page, or get a good discount from their 15% off page!

So... I'm Madly in Love with My New Firmoo Glasses

I'll admit it.  I've been hesitant to try any new style of glasses because I was afraid of what they'd look like on my face.  Ever since I started wearing glasses (about 10 years ago now) I've stuck with the same style.  Simple, metal, and square-ish.  Don't get me wrong, I looked awesome in them, which is why when I did my first review of Firmoo glasses I stuck with my default.

However when they offered me a second pair, I decided to be a bit more brave.  My word of the year is Fearless after all.  I took a quick look at some of their new styles and instantly decided on #F038 for a couple of reasons.  First, they looked feminine despite being big and clunky, second the customer in their review picture had a rounder face and they looked great (which helped me decide due to my chubby cheeks), and lastly-the designs on the sides kind of look comic book-ish.  They're so cute.

Now as a person who takes a long time to get used to change, you can imagine my surprise when I put them on and instantly fell in love with them.  Also, I've never gotten so many compliments on my glasses before.  Even my brother looked at me and said "Wow, you're new glasses really look good on you!"  While he's a great guy and brother, he doesn't typically go out of his way to make compliments on things like that-I was surprised!  Shawn (you know, the work husband) ordered me to put them on and never take them off again.  Everyone loves them, and I can't stop admiring photos of myself in them.  Vane?  Maybe, but I think I'm due a little vanity.

Being brave and choosing some bold new frames was empowering.  When I put them on I decided they made me look spunky and outgoing, and as a result of that new image I was portraying I have actually become more spunky and outgoing.  I wont lie, I feel HAWT in these glasses.  They're my favorite wardrobe accessory now, and I literally plan my outfits around them.  All of that for a super low price... I mean these frames are only $36.  That's a steal for the awesome attitude adjustment they also give.

My advice for you?  Be brave and try something new.   With as low as the prices on Firmoo are you really can't go wrong with a bold new choice-it provides room to move in your vision budget and there are so many different styles and shapes and colors.
