On My Way to Canada

Well friends and readers, I'm ditching my day job and hitting the road with momma Pam (Josh's mom) for a nice week and a half road trip and vacation to Edmonton, Alberta.  It's a 16 hour drive from Salt Lake City to Edmonton, and I'm pretty sure we'll crash a night in Montana on the way, but by Thursday night I should see my best friend in the whole world again and get to experience a new city! I'm so excited!

I've only been out of the country once before, in 2006 right before they made it necessary to have a passport to cross the boarder.  That was only a few blocks into Tijuana-and it hardly counts since all we did was see a doctor and get some street corn.  This time I have my big girl passport and I'm headed to a new city in a different direction.  I'm really excited!

If you have any tips for what to do or see up around Edmonton, leave it in the comments below.  I'll check back!

Soooooo... I probably wont be around a computer much, but please make sure you stop by as I have some fun posts scheduled for you, and I also have some giveaways currently running.  Don't miss them!

  12. this sounds so fun! I've visited Toronto and Vancouver, but nowhere in the middle, and there isn't too much to road trip in the UK! That being said I am hoping to emigrate to Seattle so I will be much closer to Canada for road trips. Have a great trip and make tons of memories!

  19. You should go! I wonder how it is over by you. I just went through Alberta which is mostly just farmland.

  20. I want to go to Vancouver or Montreal-or Toronto! Edmonton was a nice city, but not as culturally rich as those I think. It's mostly just a college town.
