5 Awesome Things That Happened This Fall

1. My beautiful Goddaughter Katya was born.  It was pretty scary there with her mom and the issues the C-Section brought on-but now that she's healing, Kristi says it was so worth it and I agree!  I love this little girl!

2. I saw Alanis Morissette in concert.  Josh and I made the drive to Boise to see Alanis and her husband (he opened for her) in concert.  The venue was small and we were right in front of the stage-and the concert was amazing!  We also made some new friends there!

3. I served on the committee for the Cause for Paws 3rd Annual Howl-O-Ween Event.  I was part of the planning on this project for months, and then it finally came together and was a good success! It was so much fun too!

4. I met Mr. Bingo and visited him in Oregon.  We met at Gay Bingo, dated for a couple of weeks, and then he moved to Oregon.  Luckily I was able to fly out there and spend an awesome weekend with him.  I am counting this as an amazing thing no matter where this goes-because it has been so much fun!

5. My blog reached over 1,000+ followers.  I also gained so many new amazing blogs I'm reading, and new bloggy friends this fall!  I am sooooo grateful for all of your words of love, your constant support, and the fact that you are here at all!  THANK YOU!

What amazing things happened to you this fall?

December Goals

It's time for the Monthly Goals Linky Party!

How it works:
On the first Wednesday of every month, we write a post recapping our goals from the month before and setting goals for the future month.  Then, we link up the post with the linky party and give each other encouragement and support by visiting and commenting!

At the end of the year, a super awesome prize will be drawn and awarded to one random blog that linked up goals throughout the year!

Recap of November's Goals:
  • Start hula-hooping again/be more active - SUCCESS
  • Drink more water - IN PROGRESS (I drank a little more water, but not enough.)
  • Eat healthier/Get on a better breakfast/lunch Schedule - FAIL
  • Save at least $300 - FAIL (but due to unforeseen circumstances.)
  • Visit Mr. Bingo in Oregon. - SUCCESS Read about it HERE.
  • Figure out what I'm getting/making for xmas gifts - IN PROGRESS
  • Help get the 12 Days of Christmas swap going - SUCCESS
  • Craft/Create/Add more stuff to Etsy - SUCCESS (Dreamcatchers)
  • Finish Wanderlust and start one more book - IN PROGRESS (I finished another book and got half way through Wanderlust! lol)
  • Get my Holiday Hot List off the ground and more sponsors for it - SUCCESS Check it out HERE! There's only one more 200x200 ad left for it, let me know if you want it and I'll hook you up with a deal!
Over all, I'm going to call that pretty successful.  I definitely need to kick myself in the butt on the water and the hula-hooping.  Even though I did it this month, I need to do both more! I also need to get the food under control, especially if I want to meet my lose 10lbs by xmas goal I set for myself.

Flash Sales, Parties, Wine, and More!

First thing, I wanted to announce that in my Etsy shop I am offering FREE domestic shipping on all orders.  If you want any custom orders I need to have them ASAP in order to get things to you in time for Christmas.

I'm also offering a couple of Flash Sales this week.  I'm offering my Cotton Candy Scarf for only $20.00 (originally $35.00) and my Through the Looking Glass necklace for only $5.00 (originally $10.00.)  These are steals, and you still get the free shipping!  These would make awesome Christmas gifts, or a great treat for yourself.

This weekend was a pretty fun one.  Friday night the roommate, Julie, Angel, and I all went out for dinner for the roommate's birthday.  We went to Iggy's which was horrible-the food was bland and they really screwed up my order (thank goodness they didn't make me pay for it!) but the company was a lot of fun.  I don't see Angel often enough so that made me happy!

1. Angel & the roommate.  2. Julie making a french fry tower.

Saturday night we went to Tia's house for her little sister's birthday party.  It was a lot of fun!  Seeing Meggy, Jon, Tia, Chad, and those other friends makes me very happy! :)

1. Meggy and Charlie-so cute! 2. Julie rocking her new haircut. 3. Julie & Tia. 4. Chad giving Julie bunny ears.

Other things that are making me happy this week:
  • All of my wonderful new followers!  I seriously cannot believe I reached over 1,000!
  • Wine.  Wine is making me very happy lately.  I'm on a huge wine kick.
  • The awesome cards I ordered from Painting Bliss-they're amazing!
  • Ashlie with Painting Bliss sent me an extra little skully surprise with my cards!

How was your weekend?
What are you happy about?
